The Cause of the Fire in Diyarbakır and Mardin is Being Investigated

All possibilities are being investigated by the teams in the field regarding the cause of the fire that broke out between Diyarbakır and Mardin provinces and in which 12 people lost their lives.

Dicle Elektrik announced that the teams are investigating every possibility regarding the cause of the fire that started in the rural Köksalan District of Diyarbakır’s Çınar district. In the statement, “As Dicle Electricity Distribution Inc., although we stated that the fire in Diyarbakır and Mardin was not caused by our electricity distribution lines, we observe that manipulative statements continue to be made by some communication organs and circles that position themselves as knowledgeable people in the region. These statements reflect our improvement activities for the region.” While it has a negative impact, it has often left our teammates working on power lines in a difficult situation.
