In a surprising and distressing news, A 9-year-old boy in Bogotá, identified as David Ramírez Noy, has captured the attention of the media after running away from home with the intention of becoming a YouTuber.

The story has shocked the local community and has sparked reflection on the influence of social media on young people.

David Ramírez Noy, who lived in the town of Kennedy, south of Bogotá, left his family in a state of despair. On the morning of August 25, the little boy ran away from home on his bicycle, after leaving an emotional letter in which he explained his decision to follow his dream of becoming a digital content creator. In the letter, David expressed that he did not find the necessary support at home to pursue his passion for YouTube.

The neighborhood security cameras La Floresta Sur captured the moment when David left his house dressed in shorts, a blue shirt and flip-flops.

His family’s concern grew as the hours passed without news of the boy, intensifying the search throughout the city.
