At the event, which began with the playing of the National Anthem, the dear memory of our martyrs, who sacrificed their lives for the restoration of the territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the liberation of our lands from occupation, was commemorated with a minute’s silence.
After the restoration of our territorial integrity and the liberation of our state borders from occupation, in accordance with the instructions of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, the creation of the necessary border defense and protection infrastructure, the implementation of successive measures to improve the service conditions and social security of military personnel, the protection of the state border it was specially emphasized that it is the next manifestation of higher attention.
The congratulations of the head of the State Border Service, Colonel-General Elchin Guliyev, were conveyed to the staff by the deputy head of the State Border Service – the commander of the Border Troops, Lieutenant-General Araz Mammadov.
After the opening ceremony, an inspection was held at the border outpost, which was put into service, and the created conditions were familiarized with it.
In the administrative building of the border outpost, service rooms equipped with necessary equipment and newly built 4-apartment houses were put to the use of private personnel.
At the end, they had lunch in the soldiers’ canteen together with the personnel.
