The “Al-Kitab” Party itself expressed, in a statement, its solidarity with “the struggles of the working class and its legitimate aspirations for dignity, democracy, social justice, and peace,” addressing “the male and female workers in Palestine, and to all members of the brotherly Palestinian people who yearn for freedom and emancipation,” affirming its solidarity. The opposition party concluded its statement by calling on all its “female activists” to “participate extensively in the celebrations and marches of May 1, 2024, across all parts of the country, so that this occasion will be a moment of strong struggle and solidarity.”
