The spring collection is slowly filling up and the most fundamental trends of the season are gradually crystallising in them. One of them is a reminiscence of the fifteen-year-old trend of boho chic, which was made famous in its time by the actress Sienna Miller. If you like this style or once enjoyed it, you don’t have to immediately transform your entire wardrobe. All you need is one typical piece that you can easily incorporate into your outfits – for example, a romantic ruffled blouse.
Trends from the turn of the 1990s and 1990s are gaining more and more importance in current fashion. In particular, it became decisive the first collection of designer Chemena Kamali for the fashion house Chloé presented within Paris Fashion Week, which received a great response. At the same time, it brings the boho chic aesthetic into play, which is inspired by the fashion of the seventies and celebrates flare cuts, ruffles, lace, patchwork or rusty leather. Among the most beautiful pieces of the show were among others loose bohemian blouseswhich are also interesting for the reason that you can incorporate models in a similar style into your wardrobe now.

Compared to the romantic blouses of previous seasons, the current ones differ especially in their cuts. There is a slight decrease in seductive square or round necklines or short balloon sleeves in the collections. On the contrary, they apply for a word shirt closure, long ruffled sleeves, transparent lace that enhances the lightness, bell cuts, either at the sleeves or at the bottom hem, and of course, ruffles.
Naturally, denim (ideally with some vintage treatment, such as patchwork), suede, corduroy, and accessories such as clogs or moccasins are the most suitable for such pieces. But you can try anyway contrasting styling and pair a hippie blouse with leather pants or retro sweatpants. Inspiration on social media is still sparse, however the first pieces are gradually disappearing from the collections. So don’t miss them!
