Singer, keyboardist, trombonist, and mainly the author of the band’s songs The bodies of Luboš Beránek published the second volume of his book “Photo Lamb or Notes from Sugar Mountain”.
The godfather of the book was Marek Douša – an artist and commentator known mainly from Reflex magazine. “I’m glad it was this esteemed friend of mine, and he was really good—dry, sharp, witty.”
He also values his friendship with Luboš Beránek. “Although we don’t see each other often, he has become a part of my life, as he often humorously informs us about his life on his FB profile. Sometimes it makes me laugh, sometimes it makes me sad, and sometimes it sucks, but that’s how it goes.” said Marek Douša, adding that he was happy to come to the launch of his book.
“More than all social networks, meeting in person is the most and this was a good opportunity. And of course a concert would be even better.” added the Reflex commentator.

Luboš Beránek entertains not only with his music, lyrics, acting and singing, but also with his posts on Facebook, according to Ivy Šilhavá from Knihkupectví and antiquarian Fryč.
“When I learned that a book edition of the second part of “Zápisků z Cukrová hora” was about to be published, I approached Luboš if he would like to launch the book at the Fryč Bookshop and antiquarian, of which I am the manager. I was glad that Luboš – albeit hesitantly – accepted the offer. We both had slight concerns – Luboš is a very shy speaker without instruments and a microphone, and I’m not a moderator,” said the host of the evening modestly.

However, she was convinced that others would be equally interested in what she was interested in. “When and how did Luboš’s writing or recording begin, how does he perceive his lyrics over the years, whether song lyrics are more important to him than melodies, whether he was disappointed by foreign lyrics of his favorite songs when he later translated them, whether someone ever explained his lyrics quite differently if he didn’t face criticism from his employer when he published stories from his job,” described Iva Šilhavá and adds that she was pleased with the evaluation of band leader Těla Martin Mráze, who, according to her, learned a lot of interesting things, and thought he knew Luboš well.
Almost everyone who participated in the release of the second book came to support frontman Těl. The book was signed for those interested, for example by the draftsman of the first “Fotra”, artist, graphic artist, photographer and ceramist Martin Poš.
Petr Bíma, a graphic artist, photographer, website administrator about everything that is going on in Frýdlantsk, also took part in the christening. “It was he who completely prepared both books for printing in Hell.” Luboš Beránek revealed.
“I would also like to mention the illustrator of the second part, Václav Šípoš from Studénka in Ostrava. He is a great artist, graphic artist, calligrapher, photographer, animator and a beautiful writer. Well, last but not least, I want to thank my wife Jíra,” added Luboš Beránek.

The Fryč bookstore and second-hand bookshop was pleasantly full. “The atmosphere was friendly and the audience had a good time. The author was funny and promptly responded to the inquisitive questions of the presenter and the audience.” Jan Tomíček from Jablonec nad Nisou evaluated the evening.
In an interview for Blesk, Luboš Beránek ruled out the third part so far. “Actually, I don’t even enjoy writing on social networks anymore. And I have a feeling that a lot of contributors who used to write wittily and meaningfully don’t either – I’d say they’ve generally decreased.” the Těl singer thinks, adding that under the pressure of his supporters, he finally put together two books from posts on Facebook. “I’m 100 percent sure there won’t be another one. There’s nothing to take from it anymore – I’m really only involved there at a minimum.”
