Minhajul Abedin Nannu, one of the most efficient and best batsmen in the country’s cricket history, who led Team Bangladesh in international cricket in the Asia Cup in India in 1990 and the Australasia Cup in the same year, is no longer the chief selector of the national team.
Today, on February 12, BCB Board of Directors meeting decided not to extend the board’s contract with him. Gazi Ashraf Hossain Lipu, another bright star of the country’s cricket and Bangladesh’s first ODI captain, has been made the chief selector instead of Nannu.
