We’ve put together an overview of the nation’s banks and their savings accounts.
In January Air Bank began increasing interest rates for deposits above 250,000 crowns in a savings account. As part of its marketing campaign it attracts customers with an interest rate of up to 6% without limiting the maximum deposit amount, writes the website Peníze.cz.
Customers who have paid at least five times with their Air Bank card in the previous month will have the money in their savings account accrued with interest at a bonus rate.
The basic bonus for deposits up to 250 thousand crowns is 5%. Recently, the portion exceeding this limit will even attract 6% interest. Therefore, with a higher deposit, the total interest increases, which is a change from before, when the bank had strict limits.
To get a higher interest rate of more than a quarter of a million crowns on the Air Bank savings account, customers must fulfill an additional condition: timely activation of this benefit via a button in the email. If you have not received the email, you should write to the bank.
