The April Fair closes with a million more visitors than in 2023

The April Fair of Seville has counted in this edition 3,146,698 people in Real de Los Remediosone million more visitors than in 2023, data that has allowed the mayor of the city, José Luis Sanz, to affirm that 2024 has been the Fair “most multitudinous in history.”

From next Tuesday, April 23, at 9:00 a.m., and until Thursday, April 25, at 8:00 p.m., Sevillians will be able to vote on which model they want for the next Fair 2025: from Fishing and Lighting Monday to end Sunday with the fires; or the current model, which begins on a Saturday with the Lighting and ends the following Saturday with the fires.

In relation to this referendum, Mayor José Luis Sanz has assured that changing the Fair model “I do not believe” will impact the economic impact of this event, which, together with Holy Week, represents around 6,000 million euros. «The Fair is an economical motorcycle that must be taken care of»he remarked.

This figure constitutes the “historical” record for Tussam at the Fair, exceeding the previous record from 2017 (1,277,215 travelers) by more than 2%.
