An antenna picked up the cell phone signals of one of the passengers of the helicopter who disappeared in Sao Paulo on December 31st. According to the Public Security Secretariat (SSP), the device is located in the same region where the 1st another cell phone was located.
The SSP did not specify which passengers the signs belonged to. According to the Civil Police, the telephone audio, telematic data or text messages of the occupants of the missing helicopter were not intercepted.
No signal was detected from the devices of the other two occupants of the helicopter, indicating that they are turned off.
The searches continue to be carried out by the Civil and Military Police and are coordinated by the Brazilian Air Force (FAB).
Missing helicopter
The helicopter disappeared in a wooded area on December 31. The authorities began aerial searches on January 1st and the operations to find the plane entered their tenth day this Wednesday the 10th.
On board were Luciana Rodzewics, 46, her daughter Letícia Ayumi Rodzewics Sakumoto, 20, and Raphael Torres, a family friend. According to the family, it was Raphael who invited them on the return trip.
The pilot was identified as Cassiano Tete Teodoro, responsible for the helicopter.
The searches are carried out with helicopters in the regions of Paraibuna, Natividade da Serra, Redenção da Serra, Serra do mar de Caraguatatuba and São Luiz do Paraitinga.
According to the Anac (National Civil Aviation Authority), the plane was intended for air flights, but did not have a license to operate as an air taxi.
