Miotisoa Rasendra won her singles match against Léandre Nabia Louw in straight sets. Tsantaniony Iariniaina also won her singles match against Megan Lombardt. In doubles, the Malagasy duo, composed of Miotisoa Rasendra and Elisoa Andriantefihasina, dominated Megan Lombardt and Léandre Nabia Louw with a score of 6/0 6/0. Despite two consecutive defeats against South Africa and Zimbabwe, Madagascar will try to get 7th place by facing the 3rd in groups B and C to stay in group 3. After this tournament, the team ranked 12th in the general ranking will be relegated to group 4.
