ANTALYA WAS ROASTED BY THE HEAT
The city hit hardest by the heat was by far Antalya. In the measurements made yesterday in the city, the record temperature for June 2017 was renewed in Muratpaşa with a temperature of 44.8 degrees. The temperature of 45.1 degrees was measured for the first time at the station in Kepez district. The highest temperature in the city was recorded as 46.2 degrees in Kaş.

The indoor unit of the air conditioner at Antalya Vocational Technical and Anatolian High School burned due to heat. As the flames quickly grew, smoke filled the classroom. Local showers and thunderstorms are expected in the inner and higher parts of Antalya on Friday and Saturday. The wind will be strong from the north and west until noon.” “It is expected to blow from southerly directions in the afternoon,” he said.
