Mr. Duong Hoang Hai, Head of the Forest Ranger Department of Nhu Xuan district, Thanh Hoa province, said that in line with knowledge, the tree is ready 700 years earlier.
Thi tree has a height of about 25m; Root circumference at the position with regards to the ground is 9.5m; Root circumference (at a height of 1.3m) is 6.2m; Tree trunk diameter (at position 1.3m) is 2m.

In line with Mr. Hai, this tree is situated on the campus of the unit’s headquarters, in Quarter 1, Yen Cat the town (Nhu Xuan district).
In June 2022, the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Nature and Surroundings and the Vietnam Heritage Tree Council recognized this 700-year-old tree as a heritage tree.

In line with observations, the tree grows well, has luxuriant branches and leaves, and has a big quilt. On the trunk and base of the tree are difficult, with various moss and termite nests.
Specifically, the normal tree has an overly strong energy, yearly it produces a lot of fruit, and when ripe, it emits a fragrant aroma.

“In recent times, the Nhu Xuan District Forest Ranger Department has coordinated with the locality to strictly protect this tree to care for genetic resources, care for and sustainably enlarge the ecosystem and plant species populations. For a couple of years, , the tree moreover attracts a large number of folks and students to visit,” Mr. Hai said.
