Famous actor and comedian of Pakistan showbiz industry Ismail Tara died on Thursday night at the age of 73 in Karachi.
According to the family, Ismail Tara was suffering from kidney disease for a long time and was undergoing treatment at a local hospital in Karachi, where he was transferred to a ventilator on Thursday morning, but he could not be revived.
Born on November 16, 1949, Ismail Tara started his career in 1980.
He played every comic role in such a way that the audience couldn’t stop laughing at his acting.
Ismail Tara appeared not only in TV but also in several stage plays. His performance in the popular comedy show ‘Fifty Fifty’ of the 1990s was seen in such a way that a large number of people became his fans.

President of Karachi Arts Council Ahmed Shah while expressing his grief over the death of Ismail Tara said that ‘My relationship with Ismail Tara was very old. He made a home in the hearts of people through his acting. Ismail Tara made his unique place in comedy acting.
He further said that ‘one by one our beloved artists are leaving us. The void created by Ismail Tara’s death can never be filled.’
Ismail Tara’s famous plays include ‘Rubber Band’, ‘Yeh Zindagi Hai’, ‘One Day Cricket’, ‘Orangi Town Ki Anwari’ and ‘Delhi Colony’ among others.
He also appeared in more than ten films, including ‘Hathi Mera Saathi’, ‘Munda Bagra Jaye’ and ‘Chief Sahib’.
Ismail Tara was also awarded the Nigar Awards for Comedian four times for outstanding performances.
His funeral prayer will be offered after Friday prayers in the mosque adjacent to Shaheed Millat Road. He is survived by a widow, four sons and a daughter.

Singer Adnan Sami Khan also expressed grief over the death of the legendary comedian and wrote that he could not believe the death of Ismail Tara.
