At about 1:20 p.m. on June 20, while workers were working in a fast food box factory located in Dai Hiep Industrial Cluster (Dai Loc district, Quang Nam), they suddenly discovered a fire. At this time, everyone shouted to each other to put out the fire on the spot but failed.
Because the factory was full of flammable materials, the fire quickly broke out fiercely. The column of black smoke from the fire rose hundreds of meters high, covering the entire factory. Next to this factory is TL Cement Joint Stock Company, so the risk of fire spreading is very high.
Receiving the news, 8 fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers from the fire prevention and fighting force of Quang Nam Provincial Police and Da Nang City Police were dispatched to the scene. Of these, 5 fire trucks extinguished the fire at the fast food box factory, and the remaining 3 vehicles put out the fire at the cement company to prevent the fire from spreading.
Due to the strong fire, the factory quickly burned down and collapsed. It is known that this factory was rented and has only been in operation for more than a year now.
The cause and damage of the fire are currently being investigated and compiled.
