Their cooperation is successful, he has already approached the elite fifty. But now Tomáš Macháč (23), the second best Czech tennis player after Leheček, has a dilemma. His coach Daniel Vacek (52) allegedly stole union subsidies, and in addition he made a shed for him!
With his friend Flégl, who remains in custody with boss Kaderka, former representative Vacek was supposed to issue invoices for fictitious services through his wife’s company. These never took place, but funds from union subsidies flowed into the accounts.
But the coward Vacek went even further! According to the accusations printed by the website idnes.cz, he also had invoiced for “the provision of economic and organizational services to the Czech representative Macháč”. “It is completely illogical for Sofos s.r.o., represented by the company’s executive Klára Vacková, to pay Daniel Vack for training Tomáš Macháč,” states the police.
And what about Macháč? “I don’t want to comment on the case at the moment. I try to fully concentrate on sports performances. Thanks for understanding,” said the tennis player for Blesk.
Vacek avoided Tuesday’s raid and stayed abroad. He is prosecuted at large and faces up to eight years in prison. In the following days, he should travel with Macháč to the mega-tournament in the American Indian Wells. But will the tennis player continue to cooperate with the accused coach?!
