Ha Tinh City Police decided to temporarily impound 2 cars with the same blue license plate 38A-1169. The couple who worked as used car buyers related to the incident were invited to work by this unit.
On the evening of March 29, talking to reporters Dan Trileader of the Traffic Police Team of Ha Tinh City Police, said he had temporarily detained two cars, including a 5-seat Ford Laser and a 12-seat Toyota Hiace, type 38A-1169.
According to this unit, the verification process determined that the 5-seat Ford Laser carried the blue license plate 38A-1169, and the vehicle’s owner was registered as the Ha Tinh Vocational Training and Youth Employment Service Center.

On December 22, 2022, this center sold and liquidated the above car to Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Hoa (born 1988, address Nam Ha ward, Ha Tinh city). Full liquidation sale documents according to regulations. During the car handover process, Ha Tinh Vocational Training and Employment Service Center has not collected the license plate.
As for the Toyota Hiace car with the above blue plate attached, this is an old car of the Nghe An Department of Transport. This vehicle had its registration and license plate revoked on July 10, 2023 and was sold and liquidated to Mr. Hoang Van Hoa (in Hung Tay commune, Hung Nguyen district, Nghe An).

Mr. Hoa sold the above car to Mr. Nguyen Duy Tuan in group 5, Ha Huy Tap ward, Ha Tinh city. Mr. Nguyen Duy Tuan is the husband of Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Hoa.
Also according to the police, Mr. Tuan and Ms. Hoa’s family specializes in buying used cars, liquidating cars, and selling scrap cars.
When invited to work, Mr. Tuan explained that he used an additional set of license plates 38A-1169 installed on the Toyota Hiace car to serve customers who came to see the car, exchange and buy, not for the purpose of participating in traffic.
Currently, Ha Tinh City Police have temporarily detained the above two vehicles and continue to verify and consolidate documents for processing.
This unit also advises the Provincial People’s Committee and Ha Tinh Provincial Traffic Safety Committee to rectify according to regulations.

Like Dan Tri reported that in recent days, on Vo Liem Son street (Ha Tinh city) two cars appeared with the same license plate number 38A-1169 and the same blue background.
License plate 38A-1169 with a blue background is mounted on a 12-seat Toyota Hiace car and a 5-seat Ford Laser car.
A representative of the Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union confirmed that the 5-seater Ford Laser car was owned by a unit under this agency.
By 2022, this car was sold to an individual in Ha Tinh city. Grasping the information, Ha Tinh City Police stepped in to verify and handle the case. When this unit arrived at the scene, the 12-seat car mentioned above had its license plate removed.
