The cold remains present throughout Madagascar, according to the forecasts of Météo Madagascar for the days of July 30 to 1is August 2025.
The winter weather remains dominant, especially on the highlands. The minimum temperatures are particularly low in Ambatolampy, Antsirabe and Manandriana, with values that can drop until 6 ° C in the early morning. This morning cold persists, while in Antananarivo, the minimums oscillate between 10 and 12 ° C. On the ribs, the mornings are softer. To the west, notably in Mahajanga, Toliara or Nosy Be, minimum temperatures vary between 17 ° C and 21 ° C. These regions remain generally stable, according to forecasts from the General Directorate of Meteorology. Regarding maximum temperatures, western cities such as Morondava, Mahajanga and Morombe exceed 30 ° C each day.
Increase
On the highlands, the maximums are cooler, between 16 ° C and 19 ° C. But a slight increase is expected from that day. In Antananarivo for example, the maximum temperature goes from 17 ° C to 19 ° C. To the east, especially in Toamasina and Mahanoro, there is also a slight rise in temperatures during the day. This evolution is explained by a weakening of Alizé’s winds. This could soften the weather conditions in several regions. If the temperature rises from a notch, the cold, on the other hand, does not disappear. It is thus advisable to cover yourself well in the morning and in the evening.
