For serious injuries and threats against his ex-partner

The prosecutor described nine facts of violence against Yanez and ordered thirty evidentiary measures. Among them were the summons of witnesses such as Maria Cantero, former private secretary of Alberto Fernandez; Federico Saavedra, former head of the Presidential Medical Unit; Miriam Yañez Verdugo, Fabiola’s mother, Sofia Pacchi, a friend of Fabiola’s, and journalist Alicia Barrios. Fabiola Yañez said that everyone in different ways knew about the attacks she was suffering. Daniel Rodriguez, mayor of Farm of Olives during Fernandez’s presidency, was also summoned.
In her statement, Yañez confirmed that Fernández forced her to have an abortion and that “abuse, harassment, contempt, aggression, and beatings were constant.” There he also confirmed that Ayelén Mazzina, the second Minister for Women in Alberto Fernández’s government, knew about the attacks because she had been shown photos on a trip to Brazil and that despite that she did nothing. Prosecutor González opened a separate file to investigate that case.
