Tattoo Exhibition Fair in Valparaíso

The largest Tattoo Exhibition Fair in Chile, Cicaplast Summer Ink 2024, will celebrate its tenth anniversary, with a special focus on tattoo artists and exhibitors who were affected by the fires that hit the Valparaíso Region last February.
This is the “Cicaplast Summer Ink -10 years” edition that had a release date for February 2024, but had to be postponed due to the accidents in the area. Today, months after the emergency, the event reopens its doors and extends the invitation to the public.
With the aim of collaborating with some of those affected who lost their homes and commercial premises, a module will be available to receive voluntary contributions. The money raised will be distributed among three families of tattoo artists and collaborators of Cicaplast Summer Ink.
For fans, this special edition will bring together more than 130 skin art professionals and will feature international brands, specialized stores, motorcycle expo, food court, contests, DJs, live music and much more.
The competition
In addition to the attractions and activities, the event will have a tough competition divided into seven different tattoo categories: Canvas, Tiny Tattoo, BlackWork/Pointillism, Neo Traditional, Black & Grey, Full Color and New School.
The participating artists will have the entire day to create their works and at the end of the day they will be evaluated by a specialized jury that will award the outstanding tattoos.
In this regard, Luis Retamal, director of Oregon (production company in charge), expressed that “despite how difficult it has been to carry out this event due to the contingency, we continue working to create an experience that is memorable for everyone.”
“This 2024 we celebrate 10 years of the largest Tattoo Exhibition Fair in Chile and we do it under a solidarity edition, so we call not only to enjoy the tattoo, music and contests but also to support the affected by the fires,” he pointed out.
