Tata Power Solar Systems launches 100 solar projects with 120 MW battery storage

New Delhi. Tata Power Solar Systems (TPSSL) on Tuesday said it has commissioned a 100 MW solar PV project coupled with a 120 MW utility scale battery energy storage system (BESS) in Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh. TPSSL is expected to complete the project by December 2021, it said in a statement. The project worth Rs 945 crore was awarded on EPC (engineering procurement construction) basis from Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) in 2017. The scope of the order includes engineering, design, supply, construction, manufacturing, testing, O&M and commissioning of the projects.
