The musician thus gives his face and his musicality to the restaurant, every Friday, with the aim of providing pleasant moments with traditional backyard lunches.
Together with the public, the singer and composer performed musical themes xx by national artists such as André Mingas, Rui Mingas and Filipe Mukenga and by foreign musicians, with emphasis on “Don’t Worry and Be Happy”, by Bobby McFerrin”, “Is this love ”, by Bob Marley, “Velha Infância”, by Tribalistas, and “Anel de Rubi”, by Rui Veloso”.
According to the owner of the establishment, Deliane Costa, the restaurant is a project that had already tried to take its first steps, but was forced to close its doors, right at the beginning of the pandemic, and change the identity of an ordinary restaurant. to something with a more specific difference.
“Opening Tasca dos Leitões was the way I found to reinvent myself, so that the company could continue and also to not lay off the number of employees I have”, he says.
With nine employees, the main reference is the chef, Maurício Santos, who has worked in the restaurant business for over 25 years in countries such as “Portugal”, “Brazil” and “Spain”.
Tasca dos Leitões will bring together Luandenses and anyone who wants to, in a relaxed atmosphere, enjoy a menu whose main dish is suckling pig and other national delicacies.
