Journalist Tamer Amin said: “The retirement of the artist leader, Adel Imam, is logical and natural due to time, age, age and the passing of days,” noting at the same time that “the news it is painful to the conscience and soul.”
He added, during the presentation of the program “End of the Day”, broadcast on Sunday evening on the satellite channel “An-Nahar”, that the director Rami Imam, son of the leader, announced late at night that his father had decided to retire from art and social work and to dedicate himself to his family, children and grandchildren.
He continued: “The news is very difficult because you discover for a moment that you will not see a new work of Adel Imam, but our consolation and patience is that the leader does not need new works. His story, his legacy, his films, series and plays make us happy, make us laugh, teach us and benefit us for decades to come.
He continued: “Every time we look at a work by Adel Imam, it is as if we are seeing it for the first time. We laugh in the same way and we benefit from it in the same way. The leader’s creativity continues even if he retires, but it is difficult for anyone who will feel that the leader will leave his stage, his screen, his creativity and his audience and will dedicate himself to his little family.”
He concluded: “It is time for the knight to dismount and enjoy the tours and arrivals he has made during the battles of art, creativity, cinema, theater and television. In any case, thank you, Adel Imam “.
