Talent hunts or reality shows may be organized to find actors, but this has happened in Bengal. As a result there is nothing new in the title. The counter question may arise, but why this title! In response, there is something new.
Perhaps for the first time, an attempt was made to bring 20 character-sized actors from Comilla region by organizing a talent hunt. Who are going to act in Deepankar Deepan’s historical movie ‘Kharita Sangh’.
The film ‘Khatri Sangh’ is about the legend of Comilla’s anti-British movement, peace, justice and the legendary Prafulla Nalini Brahm, the heroine behind the scenes lost in history. This historical thriller is being produced under the banner of Rajat Films.
“}”> Rajat Films organized a short-term course on pre-screening on March 11-13 and on preparation for screen acting on May 17-19, with the intention that the talents of Comilla can make a place in the cultural arena of Bangladesh through this movie. In this training, theoretical knowledge as well as practical training through professional shooting and editing is provided to the aspirants. Then the final phase of the event was held on June 9 at 6 pm, at Nawab Faizunnecha School Auditorium, Comilla. In the event, a total of 20 people were selected for various roles in the movie ‘Gharti Sangh’.
Dipankar Dipan, the director of the movie ‘Gharti Sangh’, said, ‘Since the movie is being made on the historical events of Comilla, we are organizing the talent hunt here. I didn’t just keep quiet about the audition, I gave shooting-acting training. The shooting of this movie will start in September. Now the final preparations are underway.’

Only 20 people from the talent hunt are acting in this movie! It is not. The stars are staying in Dhaka. The makers of ‘Dhaka Attack’ said that the star artistes of ‘Kharti Sangh’ will be introduced soon through a program in the capital.
Dipankar Deepan’s first film ‘Dhaka Attack’ was released in 2017. After that he produced two films named ‘Operation Sundarban’ and ‘Antarjaal’. In all the films, he has kept the essence of various missions and patriotism.“}”>
