Takeover at Nassfeld | ALPS RESORTS, March 11, 2024 – 2024-03-11 17:14:02

Industry leader ALPS RESORTS continues to grow

Tyrol/Carinthia (OTS) The tourism company ALPS RESORTS is taking over two additional businesses in Carinthia and now operates a total of 39 holiday resorts with over 1,400 residential units in Austria and Bavaria. This expansion strengthens the position as market leader in tourist accommodation throughout Austria.

ALPS RESORTS is continuing its expansion and opening two new operations in Carinthia: At the end of May 2024, the Almresort Sonnenalpe Nassfeld and the Almresort Gartnerkofel Nassfeld will start the summer season under the new arrangement. With this expansion, the tourism company takes the position as one of the largest accommodation providers in the Nassfeld-Presseggersee region. The aim is to further develop the Nassfeld region, to establish the winter destination as a year-round travel destination and to place a strong focus on the alpine summer.

Economic engagement

The Tyrolean company offers a diverse selection of accommodation – including apartments and holiday homes, some of which are located directly on the ski slopes. The offering also includes chalets with their own wellness area and glamping accommodation consisting of luxury tents or tree houses. “For us at ALPS RESORTS, collaboration with regional partners is essential. As a market leader with a lot of tourism expertise, we continue to develop the industry and promote regional value chains,” emphasizes Thomas Payr, Managing Director of ALPS RESORTS. The tourism company was also certified as a leading Austrian company in 2023. This award underlines ALPS RESORTS’ comprehensive commitment to social and environmental issues and social responsibility and confirms its leading role in the industry and as a partner in the region.

Future developments

The tourism company plans to open seven more resorts in the coming months. “We are always open to new business takeovers and projects in Austria, South Tyrol and the Alpine German regions. As a forward-looking partner in the region, we rely on local expertise and thus strengthen the local economy,” says Payr. In order to maintain its position as an industry expert, ALPS RESORTS’ long-term strategy is based on two pillars: the development of new projects in regions where tourism is not yet fully developed and the targeted takeover of existing businesses.

The tourist accommodation provider is currently pursuing the clear goal of achieving sales growth of 20 percent by the end of 2024 and thus exceeding the 61 million euro sales mark this year.
