“Rocketindo offers an omnichannel approach that involves online and offline options. Rocketindo products are now available at various Mothercare, Sociolla, KKV, Babybee and Baby Wise branches in Jakarta and surrounding areas,” said Rocketindo Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Daniel Liu , in Jakarta, Saturday (9/3/2024).
He said omnichannel is a relatively new concept in Indonesia. This is an approach that makes it easier for consumers to purchase and receive products through a variety of integrated sales channels. According to him, this approach has gained momentum in recent years, especially during Covid-19.
Taiwanese companies that partner with Rocketindo range from skin and hair care products as well as maternal care and cosmetics. These companies are well-known brands from Taiwan, considering that consumers from Indonesia prefer choices of beauty products that come from the best Asian producers in their fields.
Rocketindo facilitates the market entry stage for these brands economically and quickly by providing the best social media marketing, collaborating with more than 100,000 KOLs (key opinion leaders), live broadcasts every day, local marketing insights, and end services -to-end including logistics and BPOM license.
“I am very happy because Rocketindo has succeeded in becoming a partner for well-known brands from Taiwan. Developing and promoting premium brands to the Indonesian market is our expertise,” said Daniel.
He emphasized that Rocketindo’s initiative was in line with the breadth of Indonesia-Taiwan trade. In early March 2024, Rocketindo succeeded in helping six Taiwanese companies expand their businesses to the Indonesian market. These companies are Eileen Grace, Miss Daisy, Mamaway, Polynia, SH-RD, and Chess.
“All brands that have BPOM certification have contributed to the increasingly fierce competition between local and international skin care products, and thereby improving the living standards of Indonesian consumers,” said Daniel.
There is also Eileen Grace, one of the brands mentioned above, which has been present in the Indonesian market since 2018. A leading skin care brand in Taiwan, in 2011, Eileen Grace’s best-selling flagship product was a jelly textured facial mask.
The products are plant-based and paraben-free, so they are safe for use by people with sensitive skin thanks to their cooling sensation.
