“The Taekwondo competitions of the XII National Pre-Youth Games 2024, will take place from Saturday, August 31 to Tuesday, September 3, at the Jaime Roldós Aguilera coliseum in the city of Babahoyo”, in which athletes born in the years 2007, 2008 and 2009 (15 to 17 years old) will participate; and, who hold the rank of black belt first Poom/Dan, national or higher.
The Loja delegation, which is made up of Austin Esparza (Club Carvallo), Geovanna González (Club Deos), Kelly Japa (Club Kumgang), Kaylad Jerves (Club Deos), Camila Lapo (Club Deos) and Luís Váldez (Club Deos), will seek medals for the province of Loja together with Carlos Jerves and Jhon Quezada, who assist the taekwondistas as coach and manager respectively.
The Organizing Committee presented the date of the technical congress for this Saturday at 18:30, in the Auditorium of the Sports Federation of Los Ríos, where and with the presence of the respective delegates, the draw of the keys, the draw of the Poomsae and validation of the free transit will take place; while the competition days will be from September 1st starting at 08:30; once the competitions are over, the awards will be given under the Olympic system, first place (gold medal), second place (silver medal) and two third places (bronze medals).
