Taboada denounces child sexual exploitation on the side of the National Palace “in broad daylight”

MEXICO CITY (apro).- On Children’s Day, the candidate for the head of Government of the “Va por la CDMX” alliance, Santiago Taboada, accused that on the side of the National Palace, where President Andrés Manuel López offices Obrador, there is child sexual exploitation “in broad daylight.”

He said the above after he signed the “Commitment to Children, #YourFutureIsToday”, convened by 12 civil organizations, at the headquarters of the Mexican Center for Philanthropy (CEMEFI), where he was questioned about the way in which he would reduce production of child pornography in the city.

The PAN member blamed the capital government for not having implemented actions to combat this problem: “It is a reality that the Government has not wanted to combat, that it has closed its eyes, and that they intend to deny them simply by not mentioning them, that is going to end. ”.

And he considered: “On this issue we have to make two approaches, one that the legislative branch has to make, with the issue, really, of generating much more severe penalties.”

Then he said that if he becomes head of Government he will strengthen the intelligence area of ​​the Cyber ​​​​Police: “It really has to be dismantling these child pornography networks.”

Taboada asserted: “There are areas of Mexico City where there are minors, a few blocks from where the President of the Republic lives, and in broad daylight you can see sexual exploitation of minors in this city.”
