Bridgetown : Bridgetown (Barbados) Christopher Gaffney Christopher Gaffney and Richard Illingworth will be the on-field umpires for the match between India and South Africa in the final of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 on Saturday. South Africa reached the final for the first time with a nine-wicket win over Afghanistan in Trinidad and Tobago and India made it to the final after beating England by 68 runs in the other semi-final in Guyana. Richard Kettleborough will be the TV umpire and the fourth umpire will be Rodney Tucker, while Richie Richardson will be the match referee. The match will be played at Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados, which was the venue for the 2010 edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
India is hosting the final for the second time after the summit clash. The game will start at 10:30 am local time on Saturday.
