SYRIZA – PS / Countdown for the government – The next steps in Koumoundourou

The tragedy of Tempe “is not going to be put in the drawer”, neither by Greek society, primarily by the relatives of the victims, nor of course by SYRIZA and the opposition.

The need for immediate clarification of the case and highlighting on the one hand the politicians, on the other hand the criminal responsibilities of specific persons is an obligation.

And this is what SYRIZA will pursue in the next period in every way and at all levels. While waiting for developments at the judicial level, at the same time insisting on the political level for the government’s obligation to accept the establishment of a Pre-Inquiry Committee so that K. Karamanlis is accountable to the Justice.

Movements of sensationalism or political competition have no meaning, emphasizes the leadership of SYRIZA.

“Target accomplished.” This is characteristically noted by Koumoundourou officials after the completion of the three-day debate in the Parliament. Besides the fact that the government chose not to give clear and unambiguous answers about the railway accident and the responsibilities that exist, to SYRIZA-P.S. there is the assessment that New Democracy is completely exposed to Greek society and the relatives of the victims. After all, the public spotlight was focused on the speeches of the “protagonists” in the Parliament and the citizens drew their conclusions.

In this light, in Koumoundourou they consider that SYRIZA – Progressive Alliance, maintaining, during the three days, as the official opposition, a serious and documented attitude, comes out strengthened.
