The media have published new details of the operation in northern Syria, during which the leader of the Islamic State, Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi, was killed.
The Pentagon has already stated that it does not intend to investigate the circumstances of the deaths of civilians during this operation. The New York Times writes that ten civilians, including children, were evacuated from the site of the operation by the US army. Charles Lister, a researcher at the Middle East Institute in Washington, who spoke to local residents, says the operation lasted more than two hours. In his opinion, the purpose of the special forces was to capture the terrorist alive.
Interesting details about al-Qurayshi’s background.
Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi era considered the success of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. Tuttavia, si apprende che Abdullah Kardash (Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi, alias Taha Abd ar-Rahim Abdullah Bakr al-Ghassani, Haji Abdul-Nasser Kirdash, Abu Muhammad), was detained in May 2020 in Iraq. One way or another, after Kardash’s arrest, it was al-Quraishi who was the leader of ISIS. Although some experts have expressed doubts about the reality of Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi’s identity.
The liquidated IS leader had been an informant for US forces
Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi was born in October 1976 in Tal Afar, Iraq (birth name Amir Muhammad Abdul Rahman al-Mauli al-Salbi). His parents were Iraqi Turkmen. He received an Islamic education at the University of Mosul. Then he served as an officer in the Iraqi army. After the fall of Saddam Hussein’s regime in 2003, he joined al-Qaeda, as a “religious commissar” and “Sharia lawyer”.
In 2004, al-Quraishi was arrested by the US military and taken to Camp Bucca prison in southern Iraq, where he met Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
The US leadership stated that in 2008, While in prison, al-Quraishi was a U.S. Army informant (lo also reminds the NYT).
In this regard it must be said that some documents of the initial interrogations have been declassified, it’s truly amazing (see here: This document is a Tactical Interrogation Report (TIR) of Amir Muhammad Sa’id ‘Abd-al-Rahman al-Mawla, Report A.).
It is known that in 2014 he left the ranks of al-Qaeda, swearing allegiance to the Caliph of the Islamic State.
In June 2014, al-Quraishi played a key role in ISIS’ takeover of Mosul. Shortly thereafter he became one of the organizers of the genocide against the Yezidis, particularly behind the Sinjar massacre. After these events, he became the deputy leader of ISIS.
After the Americans eliminated al-Baghdadi in October 2019, the Shura Council elected al-Quraishi as ISIS caliph.
US authorities had promised $10 million in exchange for information leading to al-Qurayshi’s arrest. But I doubt that anyone took that money, too much to be true and without a real need and conviction to put an end to ISIS.
What we glimpse is the revolving door system typical of US services, capable of making pacts with the devil, in order to achieve given pre-established objectivesthe. Ultimately the whole Syrian war is built on this.
All this is very reprehensible, especially when one claims to say that one’s action is aimed at justice, equity, democracy or the like.
It is not lost on us that the rhetoric of the ‘very bad Assad’, writing such inconsistent and bloody pages, is finding it increasingly difficult to stand up, even before an extremely inattentive eye.
Finally, I would like to remind you that ISIS in Iraq was an invention of the United States, ISIS militants are men who were educated, armed and trained by the United States. For the most part they were drawn largely from Saddam’s former army, with an anti-Shiite function.
This is not new news. Although kept well hidden by the mass disinformation media, this truth is also exposed in an extensive interview by former ambassador and CIA director Negroponte. He speaking of his service in Honduras in the 1980s, he confessed like the United States is responsible for the rise of ISIS and more.
By the way: ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was also detained by US forces in Iraq and was later released. Let us also remember that throughout the entire advance into Iraq and the United States never intervened. If we retrace those days, we will see not only the USA but the whole world turned elsewhere. Or rather, we will remember the so-called world that has principles and values; what today finds nothing better than to face Russia to continue its money printing machine indefinitely.
