Sürat Kargo will be at WORLDEF Istanbul 2025

Sürat Kargo took its place at WORLDEF ISTANBUL 2025, the e-commerce fair organized by the global e-commerce platform WORLDEF.

According to the statement made by the company, Sürat Kargo General Manager Cem Oğuz answered questions at the session held within the scope of the fair held at Kadir Topbaş Performance and Art Center in Yenikapı Event Area.

Oğuz, whose views at the fair were included in the statement, stated that 80 percent of the company’s total business volume consists of e-commerce shipments.

Oğuz stated that they have entered the process of transforming from a cargo company to a technology company in order to meet this demand, and said, “We have the priority of integrating into the growing structure of the market in value creation processes, leading and collaborating with marketplaces. We want to guide the customer and lead the transformation of the market before the demand comes from the customer. We make all our investments in line with this vision. We are digitalizing, making data-based decisions, investing in new generation platforms.” We’re doing it.” he said.

Stating that he finds the integration of new technologies and artificial intelligence in their sectors satisfactory, Oğuz emphasized that when talking about digitalization and artificial intelligence applications, we are not talking about a process that excludes people, and that while they are gaining speed with technology, they are also including more people into the system.

Stating that they can track the courier location live thanks to the newly developed Speed Service Platform (SSP), Oğuz stated that they can perform routing, update the delivery time until the moment of delivery and dynamic routing to our Speedy Tradesman Points (SEN).

Oğuz said, “The SSP platform also offers us opportunities such as instant courier performance tracking, real handover and delivery time, delivery location update until the moment of delivery, customer survey results tracking. In addition, I would like to say that we are very pleased that the regulations in e-commerce logistics have paved the way for our industry. Until recently, it was mandatory to obtain an identification number for delivery, a signature was required. Today, that obligation is no longer there. Digitalization is just about speed.” “It also contributes to the protection of personal information.” made his assessment.

Underlining that they define transparency in a very broad sense and attach great importance to it, Cem Oğuz shared that customers waiting for cargo can see the photo and vehicle information of the person who will deliver their package through the link sent to them.

Oğuz stated that they have entered a very rapid growth period with technology in recent years and continued as follows:

“There was a 7 percent growth in our annual shipment numbers in 2024 compared to the previous year, and we see that our main growth reached 20 percent in the last quarter compared to the same quarter of the previous year. When we look at the increase from 2020 to today, the increase is close to 50 percent. This is a growth rate that should be taken very seriously for our industry. We achieved this with improvements in our operations and digitalization. When we look at the first quarter data of 2025, we see daily shipments. We see that our number increased by more than 15 percent compared to last year. Our daily number of shipments, which was 3040 thousand in the first quarter of last year, reached 400 thousand this year. In this way, we ring the bells of more than 100 million customers annually.”

Stating that they see themselves as export ambassadors regarding the foreign operations of the e-commerce sector, Cem Oğuz said:

“Our goal is to strengthen our Turkey-centered but globally targeted delivery structure. To invest in strategic countries, especially Eastern Europe, Turkish Republics and Gulf countries, and to gain an international vision with a focus on technology operations and people. Of course, we support this with improvements in logistics. We continue to run quickly with both our team and our stakeholders. We also consider social benefit at every stage of our business. We also provide this to SMEs with fast tradesmen points.” We also do this with special micro export supports. “As we grow, we want our stakeholders to grow as well.”
