The weather in the North will remain sunny on July 7, with temperatures rising at noon and early afternoon but not feeling too hot. The highest temperature will reach 35 degrees Celsius.
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said that on July 7, heat waves appeared in many places in the North, increasing in intensity and affected areas.
In Hanoi and the provinces and cities of the Northern Delta, the highest temperature during the day is commonly 32-35 degrees Celsius. However, the weather is windy so it is not too hot, convenient for people to have fun outdoors on the weekend.
Particularly in mountainous areas such as Ha Giang and Tuyen Quang, thunderstorms will continue on the night of July 6, with some places experiencing heavy to very heavy rain. People should be on guard against the risk of thunderstorms accompanied by lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind; at the same time, heavy rain can cause flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas.
