In addition, the authorities also blocked 52 savings books in the name of the defendant’s mother with a total amount of 142 billion VND and 2 savings books worth 20 billion VND in the name of the defendant’s child (14 years old).

Chairman Viet A said that he will fix it with all the assets in his name. Particularly, the account in the defendant’s mother’s name was Vietnamese money to pay her mother’s debt during the long process of building the company. This property belongs to the defendant’s mother.

The defendant said that during the 15 years that Viet A Company did business, many times the defendant had to borrow money from his family, had to ask his family for help, and he did not have enough strength. As for the money in his child’s two savings books, Phan Quoc Viet admitted that this was his money. This amount of money Viet gets from many different activities.

Viet replied that the defendant did not know, perhaps his mother borrowed from relatives and friends and did not have any documents.

Defendant Chu Ngoc Anh’s wife also asked to remove the blockade on the real estate being distrained.
