Strategic visit to Glavbolgarstroy in the United States –

As part of a key visit to the Bulgarian Construction Holding in the United States this week, a series of strategic workshops and talks with representatives of the leading American business took place.

World Technology Leaders Hunwell, General Electric, Caterpillar and Microsoft hosted meetings with the representatives of Glavbolgarstroy, during which they were discussed, both ongoing strategic projects in the course of implementation in Bulgaria and future specific strategic initiatives and endeavors.

The Bulgarian construction holding has partnered for decades with the leading technology company Hunwell, as well as with the giant Katerpillar (Solar Turbines) in the realization of geostrategic energy projects that make their significant contribution to ensuring the country’s energy security, ensuring the efficient connectivity of the network and development of energy markets. In addition to discussing their current joint projects in the process of implementation, in the context of the visit to the capital Washington, the representatives of the Bulgarian company have drawn with Hunwell specific steps for future joint partnership in the country in the construction of system solutions for storage of electricity.

With Solar Turbines GBS, he discussed his joint projects in the field of gas infrastructure, within which 21 low -emission turbines of the US company, part of the Katerpillar group, were delivered and installed on the territory of Bulgaria. Future cogeneration projects were also spoken, which provide working solutions to the Bulgarian industry.

With General Electric Glavbolgarstroy, he has been talking about a future joint partnership in the field of nuclear energy and sustainable energy transition for several years, and as part of discussions, representatives of the US giant management also revealed data on the ever -increasing global demand for their technological solutions, even exceeding their current production capacity.

Discussion with US Business and Strategic Investors:

A roundtable in Washington, organized by the Business Council for International Understanding, discussed key aspects of energy security, investment opportunities and future energy projects of Bulgaria.
