Stopping work at 12 gas stations and closing half of the pumps for 185 others in Saudi Arabia

The Permanent Executive Committee for Service Centers and Gas Stations stopped work at 12 gas stations in Saudi Arabia, because they did not meet the minimum approved regulatory requirements, and closed 50% of the fuel pumps at 185 stations for violating the measurement and calibration system.

The seventh comprehensive oversight campaign of the committee formed by 11 government agencies monitored 2,400 violations and observations through visits to 840 gas stations in the Kingdom, including the low level of cleanliness of the restrooms, the lack of legal documents and licenses for the station, non-compliance with fire protection and prevention standards and systems, and failure to take into account the requirements of people with disabilities. Disability and other violations stipulated in the requirements and regulations issued by the relevant authorities. 754 samples of petroleum products were examined, including gasoline, diesel, and oils; In order to ensure the quality of petroleum products available at service centers and gas stations.
