Stock market: Market opened in green mark, Sensex jumped 200 points, Nifty above 23,600

Stock market : Stock Market Today Indian equity benchmark indices BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 opened on a positive note in the opening session on Friday. The NSE Nifty 50 gained 0.25% to hit 23,627.10, a new all-time high, and the BSE Sensex rose 200 points to 77,650.48, up 0.23%. On Thursday, the BSE Sensex continued its winning streak for the sixth consecutive session, closing at a new record high of 77,478.9, up 141.34 points or 0.18%. The index gained 305.5 points or 0.39%

Stock market: Market opened in green mark, Sensex jumped 200 points, Nifty above 23,600The BSE benchmark hit an intraday high of 77,643.09 with a 3.3 per cent gain in the past six trading days. The NSE Nifty also hit a new high after closing at 23,567, up 51 points, or 0.22 per cent. During the trading session, it hit an intraday high of 23,624, gaining 108 points, or 0.45 per cent.

Asian markets followed weak global cues, with several key indexes trading lower. Hong Kong, Shanghai, Seoul, Wellington, Taipei and Manila all fell. However, Singapore, Sydney and Jakarta managed to eke out gains, while Tokyo was steady. By the midday break, Japan’s Nikkei index was down 0.02% at 38,626.95, and was on track for a weekly decline of 0.48%. Nvidia declined. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq declined.
