Sting will perform his best hits in Prague’s O2 arena this year on October 28. The multi-time Grammy Award winner went on tour with a rock band and is accompanied by Joe Sumner as a special guest at all his concerts.
“Sting’s My Songs concert is a spontaneous and dynamic show featuring his most popular songs, which he wrote during his illustrious career as a 17-time Grammy Award winner, both with The Police and as a solo artist,” says the O2 arena on the social network.
The Police
Composer, singer, lyricist and actor was born in Newcastle, England. In 1977 he moved to London, where his famous band The Police was formed. The successful band has released five albums, won six Grammy Awards, two Brit Awards and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003. Later, as a soloist, Sting won another 11 Grammy Awards, a Golden Globe Award, an Emmy Award, four Oscar nominations or a TONY Award nomination. In 2003, he was awarded the Order of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth II. for his countless services to music. As a solo singer and as part of the group The Police, he sold an incredible 100 million albums during his musical career.
