The laborers protested via blockading the Tongi-Ashulia street in Savar not easy unpaid wages. A number of hundred employees of Technology Subsequent Clothes protested at the street in Narsinghpur house of the upazila since Monday (September 23) morning.
The protesting employees stated that Technology Subsequent Clothes has been closed for 2 months with out fee of employees’ salaries. Because of which lets now not pay the home hire and store stability. We have now about 5-6 thousand employees passing the day in uncertainty. Even supposing the management promised to pay our dues, they didn’t put in force it. I used to be pressured to head down the road.
On the other hand, in open factories, employees sign up for the place of work from 8 am and get started paintings. Even supposing manufacturing persisted in many of the factories, the employees of no less than 9 factories began protest via now not becoming a member of the paintings not easy wage building up. In the meantime, the manufacturing unit introduced 9 vacations.
Except for RAB, police, military team of workers have taken place in entrance of the principle gates of quite a lot of factories in all of the commercial house. Regulation enforcement team of workers are deployed to steer clear of any untoward incident.
Superintendent of Police Sarwar Alam of Ashulia Business Police-1 stated that 43 factories are closed indefinitely. But even so, there are common vacations in 9 different factories. Some manufacturing unit employees are protesting. We’re looking to get to the bottom of the problem via discussing with BGMEA and the landlord.
