Sports activities in Europe already bring the public to the stands

After the public was banned from entering sports venues all over the world, due to the ban on gatherings, due to the high risk of contagion from Covid-19, sports venues on the old continent have already started to welcome the public.

The reopening of stadiums to the public, after the easing of social isolation, which entailed the return of all social and commercial activities, marks a turning point in the return to normality in large cities.

With the resumption of sporting activities in Europe, completed in the months of May and June, after the flattening of the contagion and death curve, football stadiums once again welcomed the public this month.

In Russia and France, two countries that have already started new sports seasons, this is for football, the presence of people in stadiums is already a reality, although it is only 50 percent of the stadiums’ total capacity and they have to comply with all biosecurity measures.

Another competition that has already seen a public presence was the “Diamond League”, an athletics championship that takes place annually and brings together athletes from all over the world. Audiences in the Moto GP and Formula 1 races are also expected until the end of the year.
