Speedrunning video game charity event “SpeeDons” returns in 2024!

SpeeDons is a Speedrun marathon broadcast live on Twitch and which aims to collect as many donations as possible for the Doctors of the World association.

After a third edition which exploded the donation record by exceeding one million euros, this fourth edition, again broadcast on MisterMV’s Twitch channel, hopes to equal and even surpass last year’s prize money.

Speedrun is about completing a video game as quickly as possible by using game bugs (glitches) or optimizing actions to be as efficient as possible.

It is an extremely demanding activity that requires hours of training to reach one of the European or even world rankings.

For example, one player managed to complete Super Mario Bros in under five minutes with an exact time of 4 minutes 54 seconds 881 ms!

For this edition of SpeeDons 2024, Xavier Dang aka MisterMV will be surrounded by big names from the French stream who will accompany him throughout the weekend to follow the exploits of the speedrunners.

Xavier Dang is a French streamer, videographer, host and musician specializing in video games and speedrunning who has almost 1 million followers on his social networks.

It will take place at the Lyon Convention Center from February 29th to March 3rd, 880 seats are on sale to give fans the opportunity to come and participate in this event.
