The Spanish festival of San Fermin attracts thousands of tourists every year.
Six people were injured on Monday in the second running of the bulls during the San Fermin festivities in Pamplona, northern Spain. Spainaccording to the regional government.
The injuries were caused by bruises and trauma, but no goring. Two of the injured, including a 54-year-old American, suffered head trauma.

Anyone over 18 can take part in the race, but authorities warn of the dangers posed by the tradition, which has claimed at least 16 lives since 1911, the last in 2009.
The San Fermín festivities began on July 6 with the launch of the “chupinazo”, a rocket fired from the balcony of the City Hall, and will end on July 14. During these eight days, the city is filled with music, dancing, alcohol and bulls in a celebration that continues 24 hours a day.
