Some questions to SYRIZA executives

We are not on the Left either for its sake or for the sake of SYRIZA. We fight to improve our lives and the lives of the world

In the Circle of Lost Poets, the professor puts his students on the chair to get a different view of their microcosm. Truth is relative and any event can be looked at from different angles and different questions and different answers can arise. I personally believe that the results of the elections gave clear answers in all directions, but I will focus on some questions to our party officials:

1. How will the SYRIZA voter go to the ballot box when he did not see us take the ballot to him for this crucial contest? When he didn’t see us on the streets next to our most valuable candidates?

2. When we all accept that unreliability is the main reason for abstention, how did we protect our credibility when underground but also openly “creeping” the rumor that after the elections Tsipras will return and fix everything? Comrade Tsipras is a very big chapter for the Left and he should not allow others to speak on his behalf.

3. How do we expect to reap the losses of the ND when the discussion about collaborations and a large Center-Left is limited to executive consultations? Should we also put society into the equation, where alliances and “fronts” are really built?

4. No one in SYRIZA is guaranteed immunity from criticism. But are we blinding ourselves by trying to blame the reduced rates on a single person? Doesn’t self-criticism come before criticism? Where exactly is the collective located?

5. Should we finally stop criticizing and start evaluating?

Assessment is a process that highlights one’s strengths and helps one improve one’s weaknesses. Not in general and vague but on a specific project, goal, task. Should we finally get down from our headquarters and start operating like this?

Because we are not on the Left either for its sake or for the sake of SYRIZA. We fight to improve our lives and the lives of the world. And the world sees, evaluates and renders Caesar’s things to Caesar.
