The largest IT company in Armenia, “SoftConstruct”, hosted the delegation led by the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Malta, Silvio Schembri.
The delegation led by the high-ranking Maltese guest was welcomed by the co-founders of the “Badalyan Brothers” group of companies Vigen Badalyan and Vahagn Badalyan, the general director of “SoftConstruct” CJSC Ara Khachatryan, the executive director of “Fast Bank” Garegin Darbinyan and others. Accompanied by them, Mr. Shkembri toured the headquarters building of the company, visited the offices of “Fast Bank” CJSC, “Fast Shift” LLC, “Fast Media” LLC, as well as “Ucraft”, “Hoory”, and “CreedRoomz”. , got acquainted with the current and development programs.
During the visit, it was noted that “SoftConstruct” CJSC, engaged in the production and distribution of leading technologies, specializes, in particular, in providing software, financial services, promoting Web3 projects, developing artificial intelligence and metadomain tools, and many other directions. Reference was made to the Fastex ecosystem and the digital transformation process implemented within that framework.
Minister Silvio Schembri noted that the video game development strategy in Malta has been in place for a long time at the state level and is combined with educational programs related to the sector. He expressed hope that these meetings will become a basis for business contacts. Silvio Schembri’s tour ended with discussions about IT sector development and cyber security.
