Pepper price in Chu Se district (Gia Lai province) is currently at 158,000 VND/kg, stable compared to yesterday.
Pepper price in Dak Nong province was recorded at 162,000 VND/kg, an increase of 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.
In the Southeast region, pepper prices today decreased by 1,000 – 2,000 VND/kg. Specifically, in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province, pepper price is currently at 158,000 VND/kg, down 1,000 VND/kg; In Binh Phuoc province, pepper price reached 156,000 VND/kg, down 2,000 VND/kg.

Thus, domestic pepper prices today increased and decreased from 1,000 to 2,000 VND/kg in most key localities compared to yesterday.
In all localities, pepper prices are at 159,000 VND/kg or more. The highest pepper price was recorded at 162,000 VND/kg.
* On the world market, at the end of the most recent trading session, the International Pepper Community (IPC) listed the price of Lampung black pepper (Indonesia) at 6,418 USD/ton; Brazilian black pepper price ASTA 570 is at 7,900 USD/ton; Kuching (Malaysia) ASTA black pepper price remained at 4,900 USD/ton.
Vietnam black pepper price traded at 7,800 USD/ton (up 6.84%); type 550 g/l at 8,000 USD/ton (up 2.56%); White pepper price is at 12,000 USD/ton.
* It is forecasted that domestic pepper prices will hardly fall below 100,000 VND/kg, especially when the harvest season has ended in April and the planting area is increasingly shrinking to make room for industrial parks.
