SIVA launches card payment system and virtual wallet

As part of the transformation of mobility in Valledupar, the Strategic Public Transportation System, SIVA, makes available to all vallenatos and visitors the SETP Electronic Ticket Payment System: the SIVA card and virtual wallet, which represents a important leap in the transformation of the city’s mobility, thereby marking a new milestone in the history of the capital of Cesar.

The presentation of these payment methods, as well as the System’s APP, called SIVAlliu, was carried out by the SIVA manager, Katrizza Morelli Aroca, demonstrating that Valledupar is not only positioned as the first SETP of the country, but now, also, using technological advances, it prints a new stamp of modernization on public transportation, placing our capital at the level of the main cities in the country.

Accompanied by Mayor Mello Castro and Governor Andrés Meza, the Manager delivered, at the Paisaje de Sol event center, details of the functionalities of the electronic payment system and explained the benefits that it will bring to all users.

He reported that the card can be purchased and recharged at the more than 300 Supergiros points that the city has, so that citizens do not have any barrier to access to recharges. Regarding the virtual wallet, citizens must download the SIVAlliu App through the Play Store on Android phones or the Ap Store on iPhone. This can also be recharged at the Supergiros points, simply by providing the cell phone number with which it is in the App.

With the SIVA card recharged, users must bring it to the validator on board the buses and they will be able to enter to live the best and safest mobility experience in the city. For their part, with the SIVA virtual wallet recharged, they must generate a QR code so that it can be read by the validator and thus they can enter the public transportation system, the pride of the vallenatos.

It is worth noting that the system’s Mobile App will also be useful for planning trips, knowing the routes and having all the information about routes, frequencies and bus arrival times.
