Sissi Fleitas and Alicia Machado will be part of the Miss Universe Cuba jury

AREQUIPA, Peru – Miss Universe Cuba (MUC) announced this Monday, in an official press conference, a part of the panel of judges who will participate in the upcoming pageant to be held on September 15, in Miami.

Venezuelan fashion designer Prince Julio César, national director of MUC, took advantage of the occasion to offer several details of the contest and its organization.

In that sense, the Cuban presenter and model Sissi Fleitas and the Venezuelan presenter and actress Alicia Machado, Miss Universe 1996, will be part of the qualifying jury on the Final Night.

According to a MUC publication on Instagram, the contest will be held on Sunday, September 15, starting at 6:00 PM in an open signal on MegaTV Live.

Prior to the aforementioned Final Night, two television programs will be held, also by MegaTV Livewhere the entire selection process of the 20 official finalists will be shown.

Since June 17, a hundred preselected candidates would be receiving emails informing them about the MUC format.

“There will be 20 official candidates and the public through our social networks will select candidate number 20,” the publication states.

Likewise, the contest will feature the animation of the Cuban motivator and presenter Ismael Cala on the Final Night.

After 57 years, Cuba will once again have a representative in the Miss Universe 2024 beauty contest, soon to be held in Mexico during the month of November.
