Simulation of elections was carried out without setbacks in Valledupar

With the presence of 18 scrutiny commissions, 17 zonal and one municipal, the simulation of scrutiny was held this Friday in the municipality of Valledupar for the regional elections on October 29, a day that was chaired by the National State Registry Office. Civilian, Cesar delegation.

There was also the presence of judges from the Republic, designated as tellers by the Superior Court of the Judicial District of Cesar.

The scrutinizing commissions, composed of scrutineers and scrutineers, took part in the development of the electoral activity; which will ensure the security and reliability of the results obtained on election day to elect mayors, Governor, deputies, councilors and councillors.

Juan Carlos Buitrago, special registrar of Valledupar, assured that the process carried out guarantees transparency in the upcoming regional electoral contest. It was carried out without setbacks and under the guidelines of the entities involved in the event.

Ana María Chacín, member of the scrutinizing commission of Zone 17 of Valledupar, assured that the exercise allows the commissions to be trained for the elections, thus providing guarantees of transparency, publicity and legality.

The main objective of the simulation is to test both the software and hardware that will be used in the regional elections. It is considered a crucial point in the preparation of the logistical and operational processes for the next territorial elections.
