In order to boost humanization and reduce the lack of it in hospital units, the minister of health, Sílvia Lutucuta, during the opening speech for the training/qualification of health professionals that began yesterday Tuesday, declared that it was recommended by the 29th Health Advisory Council, the creation of a Call Center in the next six months, for continuous communication with users.
The minister highlighted that in addition to the call center, the digital platform for hospital humanization and the revitalization of user offices are also on the horizon for the next six months, which will bring improvements to the quality of services in the health system units.
“The creation of a national team to boost Humanization in Hospitals with representation in the country’s health units; the revitalization of the User Offices and the creation of a Call Center for continuous communication with the user”.
According to the minister, these are actions that will allow the opening of a greater space for interaction between professional managers and service users.
“These projects will allow citizens to contribute positive reviews, being able to claim their rights without forgetting their obligations”, he stressed.
Sílvia Lutucuta highlighted that humanization in healthcare implies a change in the management of the system, and the main objective of creating the call center is to provide better service to beneficiaries. The change should result in changes in the way users and healthcare workers interact with each other.
“Humanizing health also means that individuals’ mentalities will or should undergo positive changes, creating new, more qualified professionals who improve the health system,” added the minister.
