The vallenato singer Sylvester Dangond was hospitalized in the last hours after he announced that he was canceling one of his concerts in Venezuela.

According to information from local Cesar media, the artist was hospitalized after being diagnosed with pneumonia and after it was ruled out that he had been infected with covid-19. “Disabled from June 16 to June 22, 2022. Medical diagnosis: Left posterior basal pneumonia”, is part of the diagnosis that was published about the artist’s health.

According to unofficial information, it is estimated that in the coming days Dangond continues to cancel some of his performances while recovering.

However, according to La Opinión de Cúcuta, the artist’s manager has confirmed that Silvestre is out of danger, although he must remain at rest to return to the stage soon. In turn, the singer recently appeared on video to confirm that he was in poor health.

«Dear friends of Venezuela, Silvestre Dangond greets you as always. Today I find myself in Puerto Ordaz“Precisely yesterday I could not come to fulfill an important commitment that I had with all of you, I managed to obtain permission due to my state of health to come to fulfill a commitment that is not going to be fulfilled either,” he began by saying.

«I’m going to stay here in Venezuela to see if tomorrow I can go on a trip and fulfill the commitment we had (…) The date in Puerto Ordaz is going to be rescheduled. In terms of health, it’s difficult for me, it’s getting out of hand, I feel better but I don’t feel completely cured,” he added.
